Fosstorfufoss is a charming little waterfall tucked away in Iceland's Suðurland region, just a stone's throw from the popular Skógafoss. It's not the biggest or most impressive waterfall around, but it's definitely worth a visit if you're up for a scenic hike along the Laugavegur trail. The river takes a sharp turn and tumbles over a 10m drop, creating a horseshoe-shaped cascade that's a treat for the eyes. Plus, you'll likely have this spot mostly to yourself once you've left the crowds at Skógafoss behind.
