All around the Island there is a cost to park, whether it's a waterfall, Glacier, or lighthouse you may have to pay. Some are still suggestions or tip boxes at lesser known spots but even if the activity is listed as free - you should still expect to pay a parking fee.

With that said it truly is not that expensive. Maybe $1-$2 USD. But if they have to send you the ticket later it's around $7-$8 USD. Which still isn't bad but worth just finding the booth to pay for your parking at the time you park.
