What you’ll do

If you only have one week in Bali this itinerary will help you plan your 7 days to see all the best spots. Bali has so much to offer and there is so much to see, you could easily spend a month exploring the island’s hidden gems. If you’re visiting for one week, you have enough time to see Bali's beautiful waterfalls, temples, rice fields, white sand beaches and take a day tour to Nusa Penida.

In this itinerary you will visit Ubud, North Bali, Sidemen, Nusa Penida and Uluwatu.

On your first day, arrive at Bali Airport and drive for around an hour to Ubud. You can get a taxi or if you get a local sim card at the airport you can also use the apps of Gojek and Grab (similar to Uber).

Check in to your hotel in Ubud, my recommendation for a beautiful hotel with great location is Kamandalu Ubud. If you have some time left on your first day, head to the Monkey Forest in Ubud center to watch wild monkeys roam around. Another stop to add to your list is the Goa Gajah Temple, which is only 10 minutes away from the center and offers a stunning cave temple with gardens to explore.
