Uluwatu Temple, located on a cliff in Uluwatu, offers stunning ocean views and daily Kedak fire shows at sunset. Two shows take place every day for one hour, starting at 6 pm and 7 pm. Arrive early to secure a seat as they tend to sell more tickets than there are available spots. You can also buy your tickets online to avoid standing in the busy line. The performance draws from the ancient Balinese ritual of Sanghyang, featuring repetitive chanting and sacred dance. Although it may be a bit touristy, I enjoyed the show and the story told through voice and costume.
The temple also has a large population of monkeys so be careful with your things as they like to steal anything that you're holding. Since it's a temple make sure to bring a shirt that covers your shoulders.
