Aling-Aling Waterfall is one of Bali's most thrilling waterfalls and perfect for those seeking adventure. Located 2 hours from Ubud in North Bali, the waterfall offers trekking options of short, medium, or long, all with a guide. On our medium trek, we encountered three waterfalls, made jumps from three cliffs at varying heights, the highest being 15 meters, and indulged in some water sliding. While you can pay just the entrance fee to enter the waterfall area, swimming is not allowed, so I recommend taking one of the treks instead.
Please note that the treks to the waterfalls include stairs, some of which are uphill. Aling-Aling is less crowded than the waterfalls in Ubud, but it's still best to visit early to beat the crowds.
