A breathtaking view of Mount Agung surrounded by grass fields and wild horses with no other visitors in sight. Savana Tianyar is a hidden gem in Bali that most tourists haven't heard. It took me a while to the location, but when I did, I was amazed - it doesn't even look like Bali!

Located 2 hours from Ubud, we visited Savana Tianyar during sunrise from our hotel in Amed. The road to the viewpoint is a bit bumpy, but the breathtaking view makes it worth it. Although the horses are tied to eat grass, they are wild and can attack, so I wouldn't recommend getting too close to them.
