This is a popular tourist attraction in Madeira, so it gets pretty busy, especially during peak season, therefore it’s better to get here early in the morning, if you want to beat the crowds. This Balcony Viewpoint is a true reward at the end of a short trail, the PR11 Levada Dos Balcoes. This viewpoint offers stunning views across the Ribeira da Metade valley. Also, there is not a massive amount of parking so, if driving, that’s another good reason to arrive early.
