This easy-moderate hike in Zion Canyon is the perfect hike to do if you're staying at the Zion Lodge. The trail takes you to two desert waterfalls with emerald pools at the bottom. Be aware, the Emerald Pools Trail can be icy in the winter, so be sure to have traction, like a pair of microspikes.
Be aware, you cannot drive up Zion Canyon throughout most of the year unless you're staying at the Zion Lodge. To access the Emerald Pools trail take the Zion Shuttle and get off at stop 5.
