Located near Buckhorn Draw in the San Rafael Swell, Calf Canyon is an off-the-beaten-path area that is fun to explore if you're already in the area. The hike primarily follows an old 4x4 road through a scenic red rock canyon. There are rock alcoves along the walls of the canyon that are fun to explore. There are other canyons in the area, including Pine Canyon, however I would recommend sticking to Calf Canyon.
