Another amazing hike on my list -- I just made it to the starting point but if I had more time I would have loved to keep going! PR 9 Levada do Caldeirão Verde is a moderate difficulty trail in Madeira, with a round trip distance of 17.4 km and a duration of about 6.5 hours. Starting at Casa de Abrigo das Queimadas, the trail winds through the lush Laurissilva forest, passing by tunnels and culminating at the picturesque Caldeirão Verde lake and majestic waterfall.
