This landmark is a honeycomb-like structure in Manhattan's Hudson Yards made of interconnecting staircases. Designed by Thomas Heatherwick, it's made up of 154 flights of stairs, 2,500 steps, and 80 landings for visitors to climb. Standing 150 feet tall, it offers different views of the city and Hudson Yards from various heights. The Vessel has become a notable landmark in New York City. However, it faced temporary closures due to tragic incidents, including suicides, prompting safety upgrades before its eventual reopening.
