Kakahi Falls is situated in the Hell’s Gate Thermal Reserve and Spa near Rotorua in the Bay of Plenty Region of North Island, New Zealand. It is said to be the tallest thermal waterfall in the Southern Hemisphere, standing at 12m tall. The hot sulphurous waters make Kakahi Falls an exciting adventure to experience! The traditionally used by the Maori for bathing and healing add a mystical environment when walking past mud pools such as Devil's Bath, Baby Adam, Sulphur Bath, Inferno, and Spraying Pool, among others. Tourists will also enjoy nearby attractions like the Te Whakarewarewa Thermal Reserve and the Wai-o-tapu Thermal Reserve. This is definitely a must-see destination when visiting New Zealand.
