Christie Falls is a roadside waterfall located right next to a single-lane bridge on the Milford Sound Highway in South Island, New Zealand. The falls can also be referred to as Falls Creek Falls due to the nearby sign pointing towards the creek. Visitors will have a unique view of the cascading waters coming down from the cliffs along the mountainous road. The best view of the falls can be seen when the clouds have lifted and the roads are dry after heavy rainfalls. The area around the Homer Tunnel is also known for its countless vein like waterfalls trickling down the cliffside that create an eye catching beauty; making it a great location for visitors to stop and take a few pictures.
