Take a journey to Tasman Glacier View with a walk that offers stunning alpine-fed lakes and glacier-moulded landscapes. From the carpark, follow the path to the viewpoint on the moraine wall for a view of New Zealand's longest glacier, spanning 27km in length. The track then leads through old terminal moraines of the glacier and visitors can observe the diverse plant life and animal survival in this environment. Not only this, but during the summer months icebergs can be seen floating in the lake and even during winter, the lake freezes over. With plenty of mountain views and exploratory trails, make time to visit Blue Lakes and Tasman Glacier View for an unforgettable experience.
