What a wild place!! Beautiful views of the coast and gorge. Bit of a scary drive so nervous drivers beware (single lane gravel road next to a sheer drop!)
Further information: Te Toto Gorge Lookout provides stunning views of the rugged west coast near Raglan, New Zealand. The track to the lookout is an easy walk from the car park which also serves as the starting point for those hiking Mount Karioi. Here visitors can view the amphitheatre where Maori gardens once thrived. The lookout allows breathtaking views of the coast, gorge and remnants of the gardens, along with karaka groves that date back to the 1700's and 1800's. This is a must see destination for those wanting to explore New Zealand’s cultural past and breathtaking views.
