The Gothic church at the complex's center is a 20th-century recreation of 13th-century original design made by Gagliardo Primario. Adjacent to the church are the basilica's cloisters, decked out with colorful majolica tiles and frescoes from the 17th century. You will also find the museum of ecclesiastical props and the excavated ruins of a 1st-century spa complex. The basilica courtyard makes a cameo in Pier Paolo Pasolini's film Il Decameron. There's a lot to explore so come and enjoy all that this monastic complex has to offer!
The Basilica is free to enter, however the Cloister requires a 6 euro admission fee.
