Seebrücke Heringsdorf is an incredible landmark located near the popular holiday resort of Heringsdorf, on the island of Usedom in Germany. This majestic pier stretches out more than 500 metres into the Baltic Sea, making it the longest pier in the country! Built first in 1891-1893, the original wooden structure was decorated with various shops and restaurants, and even named after the German Emperor Wilhelm II. Unfortunately, this pier was destroyed by fire in 1958, yet it was miraculously reconstructed to its former glory in 1995 and now features a Museum of the Concert Shell, cinema, cafes and restaurants as well as different stores. This magnificent landmark offers something for everyone to enjoy!
