Färnebofjärden National Park, located about 140 km north of Stockholm, is a Swedish gem along the Dalälven River. Covering 10,100 hectares, with a good chunk being water, this park boasts a unique landscape shaped by ancient eskers and a diverse flora and fauna. From ancient forests to rapids and wide bays, it's a haven for birds like woodpeckers and owls. The park's history intertwines with mining activities, but today, it's a top spot for nature lovers, offering river explorations, hiking trails, and fishing adventures.
