Tyska kyrkan (German church), located 200 meters south of Råsendammen in Skinnskattebergs kommun, is a large empty space under massive rock formations. It is believed that foreign workers, possibly Germans, helped build the dam in the 1600s and used this sheltered area as a place for worship, hence the name "Tyska kyrkan" (German church). The site holds historical significance as a reminder of the foreign laborers' contributions to the local community.
