The Monument to Vittorio Emanuele II is a grand statue (created by Pietro Costa) honoring the first King of Italy. It stands in the middle of a big roundabout on the beautiful avenue Corso Vittorio Emanuele II. Even if admiring the monument only takes a minute, you'll find quite a few try-worthy cafes and pastry shops next to it on the stunning avenue.
