From a reviewer: You can have a guided tour or go about the island yourself. Ferry from Auckland leaves once a day so gives you a full day to explore. Worth noting there is no shops on the island so you need to take your essentials with you on the ferry. Plenty of nice quiet areas to sit and enjoy the weather, the wildlife, watch the world pass by.
