Here's everything you need to know about how to exchange money to Argentine pesos and Chilean pesos:

Download and Sign In
Download the Western Union app on your smartphone and log in or create an account if you don’t have one.


Select Transfer Details

Choose the country (Argentina) and currency (Argentine pesos - ARS).
Choose the country (Chile) and currency (Chilean pesos - CLP).
Enter the amount you wish to send or exchange.

Select a Payment Method

Choose your preferred payment method (credit card, debit card, or bank account).

Choose Delivery Method

Select Cash Pickup as the delivery method for pesos. You can also choose bank deposit if available.


Provide Receiver Details

If sending money to yourself, enter your name exactly as it appears on your identification.

For someone else, fill in their details.


Confirm and Pay

Review all the details, including the exchange rate and fees.

Confirm the transaction and make the payment.

Receive the Transfer Code (MTCN)

You’ll receive a unique MTCN (Money Transfer Control Number) after completing the transaction.

Pick Up Your Pesos

Bring your ID and the MTCN code to pick up your pesos.
