The Secret Garden, also known as Huwon, is a hidden gem within Changdeokgung Palace. This serene garden boasts lush landscapes, tranquil ponds, and charming pavilions, offering a peaceful retreat where visitors can escape the bustling city and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature. To visit the garden you need to get a separate ticket at the entrance of the Palace or the garden and it's only available in connection with a guided tour.

I've been there at a gloomy early winter day and it was beautiful.. I imagine it especially breathtaking in spring or during fall foliage!
