🇧🇷 O Alentejo tem belíssimas vilas com castelos e aquelas casinhas caiadas super charmosas. Mas não seria exagero dizer que a que mais nos ligamos afetivamente foi Castelo de Vide. No alto da Serra de São Mamede, a vila foi realmente uma bela surpresa. Talvez por não ser uma das mais badaladas do alentejo (como a vizinha Marvão, na mesma serra, ou Monsaraz mais a sul). O que mais nos chamou a atenção foi o aspecto de ter mais vida do que essas outras vilas, onde conseguimos conviver mais com as pessoas locais. Aqui se destaca o castelo e as ruas sinuosas com um dos bairros judaicos mais antigos da região. Aproveite para interagir com as pessoas locais e não deixe de experimentar a boleima, um doce tradicional de maçã. A que mais gostamos foi a da casa de chá Belmira

🇺🇸 The Alentejo region has beautiful villages with castles and those charming whitewashed houses. But it wouldn't be an exaggeration to say that the one we felt most emotionally connected to was Castelo de Vide. Perched atop the São Mamede Mountain, the village was truly a delightful surprise. Perhaps because it's not one of the most popular in Alentejo (like its neighboring Marvão, on the same mountain, or the more southern Monsaraz). What struck us the most was its vibrant atmosphere, seemingly more alive than those other villages, allowing us to engage more with the locals. The castle and the winding streets with one of the region's oldest Jewish Quarters stand out here. Take the opportunity to interact with the locals and be sure not to miss out on trying the "boleima," a traditional apple pastry. Our favorite was the one from the Belmira tea house
