🇧🇷 Ourém, situado no distrito de Santarém, é uma vila medieval que nos surpreendeu. Achamos a vila de Ourém bem parecida com a vila de Óbidos, até mesmo a ginjinha está presente. Ourém possui vestígios de ocupação desde a Pré-História. A Vila é pequena, e você consegue fazer todo o percurso a pé.

📍Ermida Nossa Senhora da Coceição Construída sobre a antiga a Capela da Santíssima Trindade. Este templo fica junto à Porta de Santarém

📍Fonte Gótica Construída por D.Afonso, as suas armas foram esculpidas na fonte. Na pedra conseguimos ler a data 1434.

📍Castelo e Paços dos Condes O primeiro rei de Portugal doou Ourém à sua filha D. Teresa, após a sua reconquista aos mouros. D. Afonso que foi responsável pela construção e consolidação dos principais monumentos do burgo e ergue o paço dos condes de Ourém e a faz de residência. No pátio há um poço (cisterna) para armazenar água. Como não era preciso sair das muralhas para ir buscar água, o castelo não precisou se render durante os ataques inimigos.

📍Igreja da Colegiada e Cripta de D.Afonso Foi mandada contruir por D.Afonso. No piso térreo da antiga colegiada encontra-se a cripta. Nesta capela está o túmulo de D. Afonso, com as suas armas na cabeceira. Na estátua consegue-se ver o rosto do conde, e é considerado um dos mais bem esculpidos em Portugal antes do Renascimento.

📍Gothic Fountain Fonte Gótica Built by D. Afonso, his coat of arms was carved on the fountain. On the stone, we can read the date 1434.

📍Castle and Counts' Palace Castelo e Paços dos Condes The first king of Portugal donated Ourém to his daughter, D. Teresa, after its reconquest from the Moors. It was D. Afonso who was responsible for the construction and consolidation of the main monuments in the town. He built the Paço dos Condes de Ourém and made it his residence. In the courtyard, there is a well (cistern) for storing water. Since it was not necessary to leave the walls to fetch water, the castle did not need to surrender during enemy attacks.

📍Collegiate Church and Crypt of D. Afonso Igreja da Colegiada e Cripta de D.Afonso It was commissioned to be built by D. Afonso. On the ground floor of the former collegiate church, you will find the crypt. Inside this chapel lies the tomb of D. Afonso, with his coat of arms at the head. The statue reveals the count's face, considered one of the best-sculpted in Portugal before the Renaissance.
