The Taylor Creek Visitor Center in South Lake Tahoe is a cool spot where you can check out some awesome nature trails and even peek at fish through an underground viewing chamber. It's a great place to explore the beauty of Lake Tahoe, with easy walks like the Rainbow Trail and Lake of the Sky Trail. Plus, you might learn a thing or two about the local flora and fauna along the way. So, if you're looking for a fun outdoor adventure, Taylor Creek Visitor Center is definitely worth a visit! PRO TIP: The best time to visit is in the Fall. The large Aspen groves turn bright yellow and orange. Around the second week in October, thousands of Kokanee Salmon travel up Taylor Creek to spawn - it's a must see and I try and go every year.
