In general, this might be one of the most visited places near Anchorage. You can walk through the outdoor center and see local animals up close, like moose, wolves, bears, bison, reindeer, muskox, eagles, etc. If you haven't had any luck seeing these animals in the wild, then this is a great place to go - just make sure to book in advance as it can sell out in the summer months!
