Duntulm Castle, located on the Isle of Skye in Scotland, is a ruined castle that was once the seat of the chiefs of Clan MacDonald of Sleat during the 17th century. Built in the 14th and 15th centuries, the castle saw improvements and additions over the years until it was abandoned around 1732 when a new residence was built nearby. Legends surround the castle, including one about an infant falling from a window and a nursemaid being set adrift as punishment. Today, the castle stands in a poor condition, with its main structure overlooking the sea and surrounded by a ditch for defense.
