Marteinstungukirkja is a charming timber church located in Holta- and Landsveit, dating back to 1896. Designed by Sigurður Guðbrandsson, this quaint church features a cross-gabled roof with a tower and stands on a stone foundation. It has three arched windows on each side, a bell tower, and double doors at the entrance. Inside, there are wooden benches, a choir loft, and decorative elements like column capitals and a vaulted ceiling. Marteinstungukirkja was designated as a protected site in 1990 under Icelandic heritage laws.
