Torfastaðakirkja, located in Biskupstungnahreppur, Árnessýsla, is a timber church dating back to 1892. Designed by Árni Þorsteinsson, it features a distinctive tower with a steep roof and arched windows. The church underwent renovations over the years, including being clad in steel plates. With its charming design and historical significance, Torfastaðakirkja was officially protected as a cultural heritage site on January 1, 1990. It's a quaint little gem worth checking out if you're into old-school architecture vibes!
