Gljúfrabúi is a hidden gem of the South Coast, nestled behind a cliff and overlooked by many despite being only a kilometre away from its better-known counterpart – Seljalandsfoss waterfall. It's 40 metre tall waterfalls and pearly mist create a breathtaking view for lucky adventurers who make the journey into its cavern, passing through a stream and narrow valley before reaching Gljúfrabúi. On sunny days, rainbows from the water’s spray can be spotted in this dreamy landscape. The waterfall is easily reachable and is an excellent spot to visit on any tour of South Iceland, coming from nearby Seljalandsfoss,
