Fagrifoss is a stunning waterfall located in the southeast of Iceland, near the Lakagígar volcanic region. It is best appreciated when visited as a part of a self drive tour or a specific tour of Iceland's majestic waterfalls. The falls' smooth brink and segmented plunge give its lower end a unique fan shape, making it particularly attractive. To reach the waterfall, travellers must cross a small river requiring a 4x4 vehicle for the journey. Nearby attractions include Fjaðrárgljúfur, Kirkjugolf Stones, Stjornarfoss Waterfall, Systrafoss Waterfall and Raudarfoss Waterfall - plenty of sites of natural wonders to explore for an exhilarating experience!
