Aðalstræti 10 is Reykjavík City Museum's oldest house and an incredible exhibition space, located in the heart of Iceland's capital. Opened by the mayor of Reykjavík on May 5th 2018, this historical building was constructed in 1762 and is a major representation of the city's past. Visitors can explore exhibition spaces like 'Reykjavík 1918' and 'A Town of Turf Houses', plus a chance to engage with the charming maritime and photographic history of the area. With free admission for those under 18, disabled and elderly, this museum is sure to showcase Reykjavík's vibrant culture in an immersive experience.
