Nomads Istanbul, a creation of renowned Dutch architect Rob Wagemans, mirrors the cultural convergence and vibrant spirit of its namesake city. Originally launched in Amsterdam in 2002, Nomads quickly became a trendsetter in Europe, inspiring a fascination with oriental dance and Eastern aesthetics. The restaurant played a pivotal role in introducing Eastern decorative elements into European homes and blended Eastern musical rhythms with Western styles, garnering international acclaim for its unique albums.
In 2010, Wagemans, along with the Nomads team, brought this unique concept to Istanbul. Here, they ingeniously merged the architectural motifs of North Africa and the Middle East with modern design principles, intertwining them seamlessly with Istanbul's historic and architectural fabric. This fusion has made Nomads Istanbul an indispensable destination, embodying the city's essence where Eastern values, flavors, and cultures meet the Western world in aspects like music, cuisine, beverages, entertainment, art, and architecture.
