The Sirkeci area can be perfect for starting to explore the many specialties of Turkish street food. For the curious and those with strong stomachs, we recommend kokoreç, lamb intestines cooked on a horizontal spit over a grill. At Kral Kokoreç, you can savor them in a sandwich or on a plate, spicy and hot. As per tradition, the places that serve kokoreç also offer midye dolma, mussels stuffed with rice, another specialty to try.
