This is my favorite hike near Whistler. It's challenging and long but the views are worth it. Takes about 10 hours to complete. If you wanna get the most out of it camp at Taylor Meadows or Garibaldi Lake campground and hike to the ridge for sunrise or sunset. Make sure to book the campsite in advance because this place is super popular. Can be booked on the BC Parks Website.
Panorama Ridge is a perfect hike for anyone wanting to challenge themselves and take in the beautiful view of Garibaldi Lake, Black Tusk, and Helm Lake. It takes approximately 11 hours round trip and has an elevation gain of 1520 meters - making it quite the strenuous hike. Be sure to leave plenty of time to make it down to the Rubble Creek parking lot before dark! For those who would prefer to camp overnight, Taylor Meadows campsite is your spot. When you reach the top, soak up the panoramic view as you look out over stunning bright alpine flowers, mountains, and glacier-filled valleys. Although this hike can be challenging, it promises an unforgettable experience that more than compensates for the difficulty.
