It's surrounded by towering mountains and lush forest, making it a great location for a day of hiking, camping and exploration! With an easy hike of only 16 km round-trip, you'll be able to take in the breathtaking views of Cheakamus Lake while experiencing its picturesque wildlife. You can also camp directly at the lake but you need to reserve a spot on the BC Parks Website
Before your journey, remember to acquire a free Day-Use Pass from BC Parks! This will give you access to the campgrounds along the trails where you can stop for lunch and admire the scenery - a perfect way to explore the beauty of nature and relax on some of the most stunning trails British Columbia has to offer.
