The Camille Bloch chocolate factory in Courtelary, nestled in the Jura Bernois region, is one of my favourite chocolate experiences. Known for their signature Ragusa (one of the best Swiss chocolates, in my opinion) and Torino creations, Camille Bloch is a family-run Swiss brand that blends tradition with innovation.

The interactive tour at the visitor center takes you on a journey through the company’s history, dating back to 1929, and offers a behind-the-scenes look at the chocolate-making process. You’ll see how their iconic creations are crafted and discover the secrets behind their unique flavors and creamy fillings.

Since you can't peek into the Camille Bloch production itself, there are several demo sites set up where you can watch chocolate being made. Including an explanation from the pros. Of course, tasting is a key part of the experience. Expect to sample freshly made chocolates straight from the demo production lines. For those wanting a hands-on experience, workshops are available where you can create your own chocolate masterpiece to take home.

The factory shop is a highlight, offering exclusive products and gift sets that you won’t find elsewhere. Whether you’re stocking up on your favorite Ragusa bars or trying new, limited-edition treats, there’s something for every chocolate lover.

Seraina's Tip: At the Camille Bloch Visitor Center, you can personalize a Ragusa bar by creating your own custom packaging with a message or name.
