Doran Regional Park is located in Bodega Bay, perfect for a coastal getaway. The park features a 2 mile stretch of beachfront as well as over 120 camping sites, including both RV and tent spots. Boat launch access makes the park a great fishing spot, or explore the tidal pools on the shoreline. For more active endeavors, go on a hike along the grasy duns and rocky beach jetty, or ride horses on the 1 mile stretch of the beach near the east end of the park. Restrooms with flush toilets and coin-operated showers provide modern convenience, while campsites come with potable water accesible in the campgrounds.
One of our favorite activities beyond spending time at the campsite, is to go paddle boarding out on the bay. But beware, you might find seals, stingrays or even sharks out there!
Pet-friendly: Yes, but must be leashed and well-behaved
Wifi/cell service: There was no wifi during our visit, and cell service is very spotty
Seasonality: All seasons
