Estero Bluffs State Park is a chill spot on the California coast near Cayucos. It's all about protecting nature, with grassy terraces sloping down to the ocean and creeks running through. The trail runs the entire length of the park, and would be 7 miles if you completed the entire thing, but there are a ton of entry points, so it can be more of a choose your own adventure. In addition to the coastal views, you can catch a glimpse of wildlife like harbor seals and sea otters or explore the tide pools during low tide. It's a rad place to kick back and soak up some coastal vibes while enjoying the natural beauty of the area.

Pet-friendly: Yes, but only south of San Geronimo Road and must be leashed

Soft adventure: It can be, but depending on the length you plan to hike or the entry points you select, there could be some minor climbing down to the beaches and tide pools

Seasonality: All seasons

Fee: None
