Eaton Canyon Falls Park is a popular destination for outdoor lovers in the Los Angeles area. Situated near the San Gabriel Mountains, this picturesque park features stunning backdrops of canyons and valleys accompanied by cascading waterfalls and babbling creeks. The main attraction is Eaton Canyon Falls, an impressive 30-foot waterfall spanning across a natural rocky formation. Hikers can take a 1.7-mile scenic loop trail through the park that showcases the magnificent views of the Santa Monica Mountains, wildlife, wildflowers blooming along the trail, and the main piece, the beautiful falls. With plenty of adventure and relaxation opportunities available at Eaton Canyon Falls Park, it is no wonder why so many flock to its beautiful haven.

Tips: Park near the Henninger Flat Campground on Pinecrest Drive to enjoy the 1.7-mile hike, or park at the Eaton Canyon Trailhead on Veranda Ave to make it a more challenging 3.1-mile adventure.

Disclaimer: The trail does crisscross a creek multiple times, so plan to get your feet wet.

Pet-friendly: Yes, but must be kept on leash, and trash picked up and packed out.

Soft adventure: Yes! If you start at the Pinecrest Drive location.

Seasonality: All seasons

Fee: None
