Faery Falls is a hidden gem nestled in the Shasta-Trinity National Forest near Mount Shasta, California. This 1.4-mile out-and-back trail takes you through lush forests and up a moderate incline to reach the stunning waterfall at the end. The trail can be a bit tricky to find and follow. You'll follow the Nae Springs Rd until it ends at a parking lot for Faery Falls/Nae Springs. From there, you'll follow a forest road uphill to the right, and you'll need to keep an eye out for painted rocks and marked trees that guide the way. Once you reach the falls, you'll be rewarded with a refreshing cascade of water and a peaceful spot to relax and enjoy nature. It's a perfect hike for those looking for a quick escape into the beauty of the outdoors.

Pet-friendly: Yes, must be leashed and well-behaved

Soft adventure: No, this is a moderately challenging 1.4mi hike
