The Gualala Bluff Trail is the perfect destination for an adventurous nature outing! Located just a few minutes' walk from downtown Gualala, this beautiful trail was created and is maintained by volunteers and the Redwood Coast Land Conservancy. It boasts a stunning view of the Gualala River Estuary, Gualala Point Park, and the Pacific Ocean with its nicely landscaped native plants bordering the trail edge and benches for visitors to relax and enjoy the scenery. With stunning sights such as whales and river otters that often pass along the beach or swim in the Gualala River, not to mention the plentiful deer, seabirds like pelicans, gulls, and cormorants, there's always something to marvel at no matter the season. Visitors can also look forward to watching the Gualala River break through the sandbar at its mouth after winter rains and experience the thrill of wave watching. Whatever the occasion, the Gualala Bluff Trail will surely leave a lasting impression!

Pro-tip: Stay at the Gualala Point Campground and hike to this trail from your campsite!

Pet-friendly: Yes, but must be leashed and well-behaved
