Located in Death Valley National Park, the Golden Canyon Trailhead provides views of one of the most unique and awe-inspiring landscapes on the planet. This 2.9-mile hike offers visitors a chance to explore an ancient portal into the park's geology, as well as hike up to Manly Beacon for amazing high level views of the Red Cathedral and Badwater Basin. With side tentacles branching off the trail, colorful mineral deposits, and grand vistas from Zabriskie Point and Manly Beacon, the Golden Canyon Trailhead will provide an unforgettable experience and memories that will last a lifetime.

Pet-friendly: No

Soft adventure: This is borderline medium adventure, simply because of the terrain, but it is mostly flat and soft adventury.

Seasonality: All seasons, but we would not recommend going in the summer due to excessive heat.

Fee: Park entry fees change from season to season ($25-$30)
