Point Reyes National Seashore in California is a beautiful natural sanctuary with many features and activities that make it truly unique. From the pounding surf along the rocky shoreline to the expansive sandy beaches, open grasslands, brushy hillsides and forested ridges, Point Reyes is home to more than 1500 species of plants and animals for guests to explore! Visitors can go for a hike to experience the stunning views and wildlife of the area, or join programs and events hosted by park rangers. There are also several beaches where visitors can have a day at the beach, camp, and even watch whales as they migrate past Point Reyes from December through May. Additionally, the Coast Miwok culture, heritage and craft can be discovered by those wishing to learn more about the peoples who have called this area home for thousands of years. With so much to offer, Point Reyes National Seashore is an amazing place to visit and explore!
