The 17-Mile Drive is an exciting journey along the breathtaking coastal cliffs, pristine beaches and mystic forests of the Monterey Peninsula. The drive offers visitors a chance to experience diverse and spectacular sights, from dramatic coastal views to world-class golf courses to wild beaches and quiet coves. From the historic Hotel Del Monte, where the drive originated in 1881, to the five different entrance gates, visitors can soak up everything this scenic road has to offer. Whether you’re looking to picnic at Spanish Bay Beach or explore the fabled lone cypress, a journey along the 17-Mile Drive provides something for everyone in search of a unique adventure.
