Mirror Lake is a picturesque lake located in Yosemite National Park. Nestled between North Dome and Half Dome, the lake lies in Tenaya Canyon and is thought to be the last remaining remnant of a large glacial lake that once filled much of Yosemite Valley during the last Ice Age. It offers breathtaking panoramic views for all who visit - perfect for camping, bird watching, hiking, and countless other activities. Mirror Lake is a must-see destination for anyone interested in exploring the beauty of the Sierra Nevada region.
There is a paved road that leads to the lake, which is dog-friendly, and a dirt trail that runs parallel to the road and leads to the lake and beyond. The dirt trail is not dog-friendly.
