General Grant Grove, located in Kings Canyon National Park, is home to majestic giant sequoia trees, with the famous General Grant tree standing tall at 267 feet. This ancient tree, over 1,500 years old, is known as the United States' national Christmas tree. The grove covers 154 acres and offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Besides the General Grant Tree, Grant Grove contains several other notable sequoias, including the Robert E. Lee Tree, the Lincoln Tree, and the Centennial Stump, which is the remains of a tree that was felled in 1875. Visitors can marvel at these towering giants and immerse themselves in the beauty of nature while exploring this unique and awe-inspiring destination.
