Jaco is one of the famous tourist spots in Costa Rica because it's a beach town located very close to San Jose. We don't like the city's vibe that much but right next to it, you can find Playa Hermosa, a stunning, black beach with lots of palm trees. It's an excellent beach for surfing (more intermediate and advanced level). There is a cute cafe called Bohìo which has fantastic coffee. Highly recommend!
