Our favorite spot in Monteverde to watch the sunset is Mirador Valle Escondido Preserve. The view over the different layers of mountains is absolutely stunning, and you can see over the Golf until Nicoya Peninsula (Guanacaste)
Don't forget to bring drinks and food for sunset. We brought fresh coconuts as usual.
